About Us

In 2009, the Consulate of Belize in Florida opened an official office for the first time since Belize’s Independence. The Consulate of Belize is conveniently located in the commercial district of Coral Gables, which provides a range of services to Belizeans and foreigners. The Consulate of Belize in Florida’s day-to-day responsibilities are its Consular duties (Passports, Consular IDs, Emergency Travel Documents, and, recently, since June 20th, 2019, also Nationalities).

Additionally, the Consulate engages in the promotion of trade, investment, and tourism to Belize. It also focuses its efforts on reaching out to the Belizean Diaspora living in Florida.
