In 2009, the Consulate of Belize in Florida opened a dedicated office providing consular services and promoting trade and investment opportunities to Belize. In January of 2013, the Consulate was proud to commence passport services to Belizeans. The office is conveniently located in the heart of the commercial district of Coral Gables that provides a full range of services.

Visa

 

Please note that as of May 23, 2015, holders of a valid U.S. Permanent Residency Card OR a U.S. Multiple entries visa no longer need a visa to enter Belize, including at the port of entry of Belize. 

 

 

**Cruise Passengers do NOT need a Visa to travel to Belize.

Lost or Stolen Passport

First Issue Passport

Consular I.D.

 

The Consulate of Belize in Florida is now issuing identification cards. Acceptance of these cards at U.S. offices and other institutions are completely dependable on said offices and institutions.

Passport Renewal

Emergency Travel Document

 

If, for any reason, you must travel to Belize immediately and do not have a passport or your current passport is expired, the Consulate may issue an Emergency Travel Document, allowing you to enter Belize. Once in Belize, however, you must renew your passport before returning to the United States.

Nationality by Descent

 

If you are the son or daughter of a Belizean parent, you may apply to become a Belizean citizen. Similarly, if you are the Belizean parent, this service would be great for you if you want your children to become Belizean.
